This shoe has saved my life for walking due to my severe plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendon inflammation. I have several pairs of On, but this particular shoe with the heel toe drop has literally been a savior

Great for running, not so much for walking. Using running shoes for casual walking shoes is like wearing high heels the way it keeps your foot angled downward

Hello great video I have questions who is the best shoes for walking and every day use and I AM 98kg 😊

I recently got a pair of the 26s and they are excellent and comfort grate for long runs. The only thing I would say about the bottom tread is that if your using them in a warmer place in the US like a Florida/ Arizona it will wear down a bit faster. Obviously the heat on the ground will do that so that is one thing to keep in mind.

I disagree that they feel like the pro 3s. The pro 3s for me were really bouncey and felt like I'm standing on top of the foam. The pro 4s I feel more connected to the shoe with a little bounce. My transitions in the 4s are so smooth and quick. I loved the Pro 3s, but I'm even a bigger fan of the 4s.

Not mentioned here, getting the back wheel aligned with the axel holders is a giant pain in the ass every time

Hey this was a great description of the shoes, I have had 4 of them only I had the mach 5 and not 6 didn't like 5 it was to firm on my landings for me and I'm older but I may try the 6 I'm kinda a clifton guy even it races cuz my legs and feet feel not to bad when complete, thanks again for quick update on shoes

shoelaces came apart on 2nd day of owning the stems that keep them together got a little wet and that was it. bye bye shoe laces the plastic end of shoelaces came apart on nimbus 26 now what do you do?

I have Type 2 diabetes and have found that I never have any potential wound issues with the Hoka. It’s the shoe I can count on!

Great update video for 2024. Truly enjoyed your Cloudsurfer 7 review back then when it got released went through so many pairs of Cloudsurfer 7s. Especially when they go on sale. They're just simply so versatile for Running and casual wear. But the eye opener was the Cloudmonster Hypers. The weight of those things are so light.. that the look alone is clearly deceiving. Great reviews on both shoes.

Appreciate the fact that your reviews are UNDER five-minutes. Makes it easy and digestible to watch --- versus many other reviewers. I own the Skyward X --- and think they are good --- but not great shoes. Almost great --- but not quite there. Hope you review the Mizuno Neo Vista soon. That shoe is creating a TON of buzz. --- as the "super shoe" wars heat up this summer.

Great video! I'm very curious about the new cloudrise that's part of the cyclon. It looks like the surfer, which is intriguing, but I can't find anyone reviewing or talking about it.

I got the Cloud Stratus 3, loud Eclipse and Cloud Monster Hyper. What do you recommend next from ON between the Cloud Runner 2 ( it seems very stable and low to the ground ,but more cushioning them a Flow) or a Cloud Monster 2 ( sin e I loved the Stratus, more than the Eclipse !) Thanks for your time.

Thanks Dusty! Another great overview. On has so many shoes and I never understood the less popular shoes (what they are best at, etc.) I went for the Cloud Surfer Trail and Eclipse. I tried the Cloud Surfer but it was just too unstable feeling for me. They felt great on foot though, super soft, slipper- like shoes. One note on the Cloud Surfer Trail is that I’m finding that the lugs wear down super fast. I’m surprised how quickly they have worn. The rest of the shoe is holding up great and I would definitely buy them again. Cheers!

i wondered if wide feet can use. I tested novablast 9.5uk and it was wide 2e. It was really good fit for me but idk about this one if 9.5uk standard is fit for my feet

That orange heel area is so reminiscent of how i wear down my Cloudsurfer 7s. probably that same 'material' used as well.. otherwise great review. I was thinking about investing in Echo 3s as my first race shoe.

To clarify, yes some of these shoes came out in 2023 but as of shooting this video (May 2024), these are all the current versions of the shoes shown. Some shoes may be updated towards the end of the year. Hope that helps!

What is this. Clifton 9 and bondi 8 are very early 2023 shoe more than a year old.

Thanks Dusty! Nice overview of Hoka shoes. I’m one of those Bondi loving people (for walking, not running) and own several versions of the Clifton (6,7,8). The Bondi’s have better forefoot support for me than the Cliftons and I also have a pair of Speedgoat 4’s that I think are better fitting than the new version (new one are too narrow in the toe box). The end of your video was awesome! Keep up the great work ❤

I gave my Cloudsurfer 7s a break and decided to try out these Monster Hypers. Never owned Monster before. Only wore my Cloudsurfer 7s. These guys are crazy light when u pick them up. the Rides good for the cushion. Not wearing these for any type of long distance . That's reserved for the Cloudsurfer 7s. Just been wearing them for a long time. Other than that the fit is just right with my Normal Size. No regrets with my purchase. Great Review.
